We are seeking a Head of Sales to lead and drive the success of the sales department. This pivotal leadership role requires a dynamic and experienced individual capable of developing and executing strategic sales plans, optimising sales processes, and overseeing the sales team. You will foster strong relationships with key customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Planning:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies that align with company targets and goals. Focus on existing product categories and emerging markets
  • Continuously analyse sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to refine strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams for a cohesive approach to market penetration and customer acquisition.

Sales Process Optimisation:

  • Design and implement efficient sales processes to streamline customer acquisition and retention.
  • Utilise CRM tools to track sales performance and provide valuable feedback.
  • Ensure processes are adaptable to market changes and scalable for business growth.

Team Leadership and Coaching:

  • Lead, motivate, and mentor the sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Provide continuous training and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Foster a culture of success and goal achievement within the team.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Set clear team and individual performance goals linked to the sales plan.
  • Monitor progress and provide regular feedback and coaching to ensure targets are met.
  • Recognise high performers and implement incentives to motivate the team.

Customer Relations Management:

  • Manage key customer relationships and develop strategies to expand the client base.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profitability.
  • Partner with customers to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.

Market Analysis:

  • Conduct in-depth market and competitor analysis to inform sales strategies.
  • Adjust sales strategies based on feedback from projects and campaigns.

Reporting and Communication:

  • Provide regular feedback from clients to senior executives.
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing all levels of the organisation, including C-suite.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from planning to closing.
  • Exceptional mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
